I find it difficult to believe that children will follow safety rules when there are adults carrying on about having to wear a mask, etc…I've seen improper coverings, (1 layer thickness), noses not covered, etc…and do we really believe that children who are invincible will follow any guidelines unless they've been frightened enough by their parents to try to stay safe? Maybe a few will but since people can get this virus more than once I only see millions more people getting it and passing it on to more people with poor immune systems.
My five year old daughter has been doing really well in keeping her mask on. I do think it helps her to not touch her face and spread germs that way. I watched her play at the park this past weekend and I was impressed how well she kept it on while playing on the jungle gym.
Thank you Dr DeVries for this information. I appreciate this information and feel that this will provide guidance and reassurances to those with questions about this topic.
