Marshfield Children’s Pediatric Therapy Clubhouse, part of Marshfield Medical Center-Rice Lake, offers many services to pediatric patients and their families, close to home.
As a part of Marshfield Children’s network of care, the Pediatric Therapy Clubhouse offers dedicated pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy in a family-friendly environment. Treatments at the Clubhouse are based on the medical model and can include play-based therapies using a multidisciplinary team approach, which includes communicating often with the referring physician.
Our pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapists evaluate and treat patients from birth through adolescence. They are specifically trained to improve the lives and daily function of children with diagnoses ranging from developmental to neuromuscular disorders, congenital, skeletal, orthopedic injuries and acquired diseases and disorders.
Staff utilize equipment such as a full-size indoor playground, treadmill with body weight support system and a climbing wall to target a variety of developmental areas such as gross motor, fine motor, communication, activities of daily living, social skills, cognition, etc. Play, family involvement, promoting the use of treatments/strategies at home and one-on-one care are exclusive to the kids that come to the Clubhouse.
