Critical care EMS services are now available at Marshfield Medical Center-Weston including one ambulance on-site to transport patients.
Ambulance service will be available at intermittent hours at first, as recruitment for more team members continues. The goal is to run a 24/7 inter-facility transport service.
Another vehicle will be added that will serve the Wausau/Weston area and Stevens Point hospital when it opens later this year.
The ambulances will be housed in the detached garage by the Marshfield Medical Center-Weston helipad. Crews will work closely with our other established EMS sites in Rice Lake and Minocqua to bring high-level and standardized care throughout Marshfield Clinic Health System. This service aligns with Health System efforts to create better patient access throughout our rural communities.
