Still dancing: One patient’s story of living with heart failure

John Miller has always been an avid exerciser and all-around active person, so when he was diagnosed with heart failure, it wasn’t just shocking, it was life changing. While dealing with his diagnosis has been challenging, he has been helped through the process by Marshfield Clinic’s Heart Failure Improvement Clinic (HFIC).

With regular appointments, and the care team at HFIC never more than a phone call away, Miller and his wife, Pat, know they have expert care in their corner and at their fingertips. Though he has some limitations because of his condition, Miller continues to live a full and active life. That’s a good thing, because he has four grandchildren he needs to keep up with.

Very nice and positive, and I am happy for John and Pat and family, but with the others above, I would like to see something more about promoting a plant based diet medical science now knows is heart-healthy. That should be hugely important!

Not a single word about a plant based diet ! See "Forks Over Knives" movie. The large
    Agri-business lobbies are too powerful.

I am a heart disease patient. I would love to know more about this plant based diet. I am on coumadin and vegetables are the one thing I have had to watch. Green vegetables interfere with coumadin levels and I live green vegetables.
