When dealing with daily pain like in your lower back, muscles or knees, it can be easy to take some ibuprofen or acetaminophen to take the edge off. But when you don’t want to rely on over-the-counter medications to relieve pain, many other options are available to try. Heat and cold, distraction techniques, breathing exercises, healthy habits and getting external help may make a difference for you.
