The flu shot: Get it, got it, done

You have a bunch of excuses not to get a flu shot. We get that. But getting vaccinated for the flu may keep you and others in your life healthier this winter.

You have flu shot options

It’s not too late to get a flu shot and remember … a flu shot means a moment of discomfort that could help you avoid days of serious illness.

You have several options to choose from:

  • Make an appointment with your provider or walk in to your provider’s office for an immunization.
  • Go to a flu clinic.
  • Check to see if your employer offers a vaccination program.
  • Or, look into other community resources.

Flu may seem like something anyone can weather but, that’s not true. It can be serious enough to put people in the hospital and even cause death. So, take a moment to check out this infographic on why you “don’t” need a flu shot.
