Long hours in a chair takes a toll on our posture, making it important to stretch regularly.
While numerous stretches are effective and available, it’s easiest to keep things simple.
Tom Merchant, a physical therapist at Marshfield Clinic, always recommends the chin tuck and shoulder blade pinch, which help with neck and back posture, respectively.
Hold each stretch for 10-15 seconds and repeat every 30-60 minutes, Merchant said.
