Living life despite ovarian cancer: One patient’s story

Lisa Mueller had so much ahead of her. She and her husband were living life in the home they built together in Edgar, Wisconsin. Their only son was about to be married in less than a year. Life was good.

However, Lisa noticed changes in her body. She started to gain weight, feel bloated and lose her appetite. One day she doubled over in pain. That is when she realized this was serious. She went to the emergency department and was later diagnosed with ovarian cancer.
