John Monnier was enjoying retirement in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. He would hunt with his son and grandsons in the fall, and he fished and spent time at the lake in summer. But, when John’s wife started noticing problems he was having memory problems, and John realized that he couldn’t walk far without getting winded, they knew something was wrong.
John went to the emergency department fearing heart issues and was referred to a neurologist after a CT scan. He was diagnosed with a tumor in the lining of his brain and needed surgery.
