Beating the odds with a smile: One young patient’s story

Keisha Jackson was referred to Marshfield Children’s Hospital when she found out her unborn baby was seriously growth restricted. Amarion was born premature at 26 weeks and weighing one pound, one ounce. He only had a 5% chance to live.

The expert team at Marshfield Children’s Hospital cared for him and supported Keisha during a difficult time. After 421 days in the hospital, Amarion and Keisha were able to go home.
